First contact
8.52am – We received an email from a customer.
He was on a flight out to Saudi Arabia in the early afternoon and was staying in a hotel in London until 11am. We are based in Arundel, on the South coast, some 50 miles away…
The dilemma
He needed an 85KW (205 amp) 4 quadrant DC drive delivered to him to take as hand luggage on his flight. He had a very urgent retrofit requirement on a machine with a breakdown.
Our solution
Due to our philosophy of building for stock, we were able to courier him a PLX85 (4 Quadrant Regenerative 85KW / 205 Amp Digital DC Drive) directly to him.
10.52am – The drive was delivered to the customer!
A huge thanks to the local company Door to Door Couriers of Bognor Regis who stepped up and helped make this happen.
Result – One very happy customer!!
