Sprint Electric to exhibit at Machine Building South

Following a successful appearance at Machine Building North, Sprint Electric will be exhibiting on Stand 35 at Machine Building South on Wednesday, July 8.

Taking place at Sandown Park, Esher, Machine Building South brings together machine builders, systems integrators and manufacturing professionals to discuss the latest developments in industrial automation.

Sprint Electric will be showcasing its AC and DC motor control expertise with Generis, its regenerative AC drive, and the PL/X. Generis is designed to deliver dynamic energy savings, ultra-low harmonics and reliable performance in demanding applications.

Gary Keen, director at Sprint Electric, said: “The setup of the Machine Building events is excellent. It gives our team the opportunity to connect with our customer base and meet the engineers who truly understand motor control.

“Neill Drennan and I had a positive time at Machine Building North in Manchester, where we enjoyed discussions with knowledgeable manufacturers. We received lots of enquiries about Generis, particularly around its regenerative capability.

“Energy is one of the most common topics of conversation in industry, and Generis offers significant advantages for manufacturers. By avoiding the need to waste energy in braking resistors, it delivers dynamic energy savings, cooler and more reliable equipment, cleaner current waveforms and lower bills,” said Gary.

Sprint Electric will also be discussing its established PL/X DC drive, which continues to attract interest from manufacturers considering retrofit projects. Replacing legacy drives with efficient motor control technology such as the PL/X can help reduce operating costs, with savings often offsetting the initial investment quickly.

Gary added: “DC drives continue to be in demand, and the PL/X was another major talking point with customers considering retrofitting. We look forward to attending Machine Building South on Wednesday, July 8, and speaking with our connections once again.”
